Jackson Family newsletter

(The yearly family update...according to Shelley)

Let’s see, Amanda is still working at Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch. Her son, Jaden (7), is in the second grade. He has proven that you can be both smart and a smart alec. Mandy’s “other child” Jedi Master Hollywood, a black miniature poodle passed on to doggie paradise this year after he finally caught a passing car.
Briana is still in Texas with her brood. Her husband, Mike, has finished medical school and is currently doing an internship in Houston. Next year they will move to Atlanta, Georgia for his residency. Meanwhile her oldest, Aubri (5), has started kindergarten this year and loves to learn reading and writing. Her next oldest, Kade (3), now rules the roost and helps his mom take care of Corinne (1). Corinne is a master problem solver and has figured out how to get into anything and everything using her two front teeth.
Kris and his little family are living in Nevada right now while Kris works as a mechanic at a New Holland dealership. Rex (1) loves singing and keeping his mommy, Katie, on her toes. The whole family is getting excited to welcome a new addition to their family in the spring.
Shelley and her husband, Dennison, are living in Virginia right now while Denny is going to law school. He’s doing really well and was ranked first in his class after his first year. Shelley has been working at a preschool but has been accepted into a Master’s program at ODU in International Studies and her classes will start in January.
Camille is living and working in Cody, Wyoming. She loves living so close to snow and mountains where she and her friends can go snowboarding on the weekends. Cami also spent a few weeks this summer traveling through Italy, Greece, and Turkey. She made a lot of good memories and a few embarrassing ones as well. Ask Collene for the details.
Collene and Richard are kept busy between church callings, work, and the farm. Last spring, Collene bought several hens and a rooster, so they have been enjoying the benefits of free eggs and early morning wake up calls. Collene collected a bunch of eggs to incubate and we got to enjoy watching baby chicks hatch and grow during the Christmas vacation.   Collene also went to Italy, Greece, and Turkey this summer with her sister and Camille. Richard and Collene try to visit their little grandbabies as often as they can.

And that's about all that's going on with us...
